Cell phones emit low level radiation which was once thought to be harmless. Studies have since proved that this might be something that we want to look into much more closely.
A study was done with over 360 males divided into three groups, never used cell phone, less then two hours a day, more then four hours a day. This study showed shocking results that tests four categories, sperm count, motility, viability, appearance. To start, the study showed that the most frequent cell phone users has a 25% decrease in their sperm count on average in comparison to the males that never used a cell phone. Also a 1/3 decrease in the sperms ability to swim was found in frequent cell phone users. To top things off appearance was also effected with less the 1/5 of frequent cell phone users having normal looking sperm.
WHAT!!!!!!!!! that was my first thought after reading this. Before you freak out, first we have to realize that this is just a comparative test. There were a lot of variables that more then likely weren’t considered (smokers, foods and beverages consumed, etc.) that could lead to lower sperm count. Because of this we have to realize that these results probably aren’t 100% correct. I am not saying that this results aren’t true because I think they are but I believe that with a controlled test you might find the results to be a little higher or lower then these. Either way my cell phone just found a new home.....anywhere but my pocket!

Got a headache......start by throwing away that advil
Ever have a killer headache and hadn't had any pills on you to subdue it, now you wont need them. Chinese believe that all headaches can be cured by knowing the pressure points that take them away. Chinese have been using pressure points to relieve headaches for over 2000 years.
Many headaches start because of stress, overwork, menopause, worry etc. they can also come in many different forms like Temple headaches, Fatigue headaches, Anxiety headaches, Tension headaches and Stiff neck headaches.
This pressure relief point takes temple and side of the head, headaches away.
"Use your thumbs to press and rub the two depressions at the base of your skull. Close your eyes and focus on the points as you press them. Press upwards in the direction of your eyes. Use as much pressure as you’re comfortable with, then while holding the pressure rub in a very small circular motion for 1-2 minutes. Gently release the pressure. Repeat 3-4 times a day and whenever you have a headache."
Personally i don't really ever get headaches so i haven't been able to try this out yet but next time a get one i am definitely going to try it. I have my doubts on how good it actually works but by all means if you are reading this and get headaches regularly, try it out i would love to find out if it worked for you.

To use or not to use that is the question! (sunscreen)
About three years ago a friend of mine told me that he didn't wear sunscreen because it is going to give him cancer and its better for you just not to wear it. I thought to myself well isn't that what is it made to prevent, skin cancer. So until now i didn't really put much thought into it because i just figured he didn't know what he was talking about; then this assignment came up and that was the first thing that i thought of "is it really true?" Well about 2 hours later after searching the internet dry i think i have come to a decision. From everything that i read there seems to be a few reasons why sunscreen could cause cancer.
One of these is that the ability of white pasty sunscreen to become transparent is called nanotechnology. This means that the sunscreen that you put on is a bunch of nanoparticals that enter deep into you skin and end up in your bloodstream. This can cause adverse effects and cause a list of health problems including some cancers.
Tne Second way that sunscreen works is it blocks the UVB rays which cause your skin to burn. This is where the trouble starts by blocking your skin from UVB you are not allowing your skin to absorb any vitamin B which is the single most important nutrient to stay healthy. Humans eat on average 10% of the vitamin B they need on a daily basis. Vitamin D helps prevent many chronic diseases such as prostate cancer, breast cancer, and heart disease.
So what do you do, one concern of mine is that the facts were a bit unclear. For one they never gave you percentages to back up their theories, which made me think how much research was really done to prove this. Second they never stated what would be a better choice, not wearing sunscreen and having a chance to get cancer or wearing it and still having a chance of getting cancer.
So hear are my thoughts, one you need vitamin D there is not getting around that, two i think it is safe to say that no one wants cancer. So here is my solution when going out in the sun just be out there for a hour or so and don't wear sunscreen, this way you aren't going to get burnt and you are still absorbing well needed vitamin D. If you are going to be out in the sun for a long period of time like at the beach wait to put it on, give your skin some time to absorb the sun then put it on to prevent sunburn. The bottom line is that it''s a double edged sword and you wont win, but hopefully with what i have told you, you can make a well informed choice.
